Can anyone guess what this little equipment do?

Because it looks like there is a percent sign after the top number, I might have guessed a humidity and temperature gauge. But I'm also guessing that it is never as low as 43% humidity anywhere in Malaysia. Does someone have a better guess? (Maybe the number of times the Gangam Style dance was done by the Danes vs by the Koreans).

Fidget, you're correct. I'm very sure it's humidity in % and temp in °C. Most likely the humidity is lower due to air conditioning which will dry the air a tad.
