Need help from pro stringer!
Hi guys ,I owned a victor mx Jjs here..today I went to a stringer in my place here where I always gt rest of my racket strung by him...normally he will make one of the line at the bottom goes without the Horizontal strings..that goes find with the normal 72 holes racket as all the grommets are used.but today I told him not to do this on my victor mx Jjs ...because its a 80 holes rCket yet he strung it his way and one of the grommets at 7 o'clock was left unstrung...is this going to spoilt the racket??? It looks fine on the frame so I din think much...help!!!

I don't think it will, but he should have strung it through that bottom horizontal cross.....maybe he has lack of experience.

And I can't believe he has three strings going through that one grommet??? WTF?Last edited by AZbadman; 01-24-2013 at 10:30 AM.

that is the reason! i cant say he lacks of experience..because he is really good at stringing...he has been doing this for quite many years... but now i doubt that did he really know how to string a 80 hole racket because maybe he is used to those 72 holes rackets and forgot the actual way to string the latter one? >.<...will the part where 3 strings are in a hole spoilt because too much tension is depending on it?...

I just strung my Meteor X70 and X80 using 2 piece stringing modified Yonex pattern. Still very easy. Maybe he likes to skip at the bottom like some other stringers I know.....try to make fancy. LOL

can show me?... i wanna learn it! hahaha
is it really ok? they said that this way of stringing is to make the string sound clearer and louder...it really does! haha and it reduces time of the string to drop pounds...
anyway the place where 3 strings are in a grommet is the palce where he ended the tie..every rackets are the same when it is used as the end tie

My racquet has 4 knots and I never tie off where there is already 2 strings there. Too much stress. If you want a lighter headed racquet then you should NOT be using Victor Meteor JJS....LOL

That is what I'm trying to explain to you. Why skip a line to make head lighter? You already using JJS. how funny

hahahaha bro u mistook my meaning! haha i meant he skipped one line because they said by skipping one line at that particular grommet can slower down the dropping lbs of the string! haha

maybe......but 4 knots is better to keep the tension to not dropping the lbs of the string.

The Victor Meteors have a unique stringing pattern. You should print one out and take it to your stringer.
