Hybrid? Thinking of BG80 & BG66....

Played tourney last sat, felt lovely. 3 more matches this week.... and centre main BG80 broke playing a net kill. (mishit at the top)

Have one more set which will go on tonight ready for county match tomorrow.

Then it'll be back to BG80P for bit and try something else.

Verdict so far is it's VERY nice but BG80 may be a bit fragile for me....

Bust again during match on Sunday

Just my backup 700FX with it left now.

Think next stop will be to try Zymax 65.... (have used 67 and 62 in the past)

how does it feel compared to bg80+bg80 and bg66+bg66?

does bg80+bg66 brings out the best of both? or does it averages them out?

Never tried either by itself!

Just a combo that seems to make sense in theory.

Compared to anything else I've ever tried it is certainly very lively.

Fyi the break was on the 80 mains top dead centre again.

does it always break there? same racket? normal hitting or due to mishit?

Just above sweet spot, very slight mis hit. Last 2 have. Stepped up tension slightly as well tho. Last was 26x28 which the owner of the machine (my grandfather) says is 25x27 or so when he checked it a month or so ago. This is on a nanoray 700fx and a 1977 no side supports machine btw :-D Have to go steady!!
