Net play: 8/10

Woah, the speed is only 9/10? Yet you give the Thruster K8000 10/10? I thought the XP-70 would be faster considering it is lighter and more headlight than the TK8000 and it even has the bravesword/ octagonal frame. And you gave control and net play 8/10, may I ask what made you give it that score?

Control especially return of a serve is unpredictable as well. I normally pounce on serves and I've sent quite a few long or wide with very little force. So again probably need to be more mindful and apply a softer touch than normal.
As for speed, the bottom half is Meteor X like but it is still very fast.
As for higher rating for the Thruster, you have to realize that we all have different physiques, muscle tone and so on....the Thruster just feels very natural to me and I have no issues with it at all. To be honest I do not feel it's head heaviness until it comes into contact with the shuttle. It's an impressive design to me cause the amount of flex and the design of the frame almost gives you a split second longer to decide how much force you want to give it upon contact!
The feedback is impressive as well.
But again not many people like mid-flex rackets.
The XP-70 to me feels like a hybrid of the MX-JJS and the BS12.
To be honest, this is the stiffest racket I currently play with since I sold my JJS and VT-80 and no longer use the VT-ZF so I probably just need to spend much more time with it but as you know I received the BS12 at the same time so I split court time with both the past 3 sessions.
However if we go by value for money, this racket is 10/10 for every single aspect!

XP70 is no slouch. I'm liking it the more I use it.
Again it shouldn't be compared to the Thruster cause for me, the Thruster feels like an extension of my arm.
But compared to the BS12, it's a tie for me as I'm really surprised as to how good this racket is for the price! I may have to string it tighter cause I have to readjust after every single forceful hit.

I added some tape to the head on Friday and it made quite a difference in power.
Surprisingly for me it did not affect speed or maneuverability.
I really like this racket.
Once the strings break, I'm going to go 1lb more to see how it does for control. I keep sending the shuttle long without intending to.

^^ Coming from a Thruster, you'll probably need to add 3g of tape.

Oh... Another thing, try holding it lower than your usual.
I find that if the racket is too low in swing wt, this is a very easy fix.
