I'm using a 4u Voltric 80 right now. I'm considering a xp60 since I want something a bit stiffer (can't use ZF, too heavy). I'm just concerned that the xp60 is not head heavy enough? Feedback appreciated!

It's definitely not as head heavy but Eric also sells the Powerizer which is the Victor lead tape which can be used to make the racket head heavier!

Not the same as an originally heavy racket, I'm afraid...a 4U VT80 is ~84/310, right? A 86/300 is nearly as heavy, a 87/300 slightly heavier.

Yep, my 4u vt80 is 82.8g 313mm dry. As j4ckie says the closest would be a xp60 86.5g 300mm.

After swinging my XP60/70 and VT80, I just realized that they don't swing the same, because most of the mass of the VT is at the top where the trivoltage bumps are, as opposed to the XP with most of the mass at the bottom where the MX cross section is.
I suppose adding some lead tape at the top of a 83g XP60/70 may make it more comparably similar.

Nah. At least 84, better 85g....otherwise there's just too little carbon^^

Ordered two XP70s to tryout, and will also use them to test some strings.
Ordered 87 and 88g @ 300mm bp. I'm actually a little worried if I accidentally ordered too heavy and too headheavy. Although I would like a lighter and less stiff version my 3UG5 VT80, I think my specs are a little too high to meet that. Maybe I should have gone for 86/87 @ 297-298 instead haha. As always, Eric has shipped them extremely fast and they will arrive soon.
Hopefully 1-2mm difference in bp won't matter too much, can anyone shed more light on the difference of a few millimetres? Is there a discernible difference of a few millimetres between identical rackets?
Then again, I could always take off a few inches off the top of the original grip and that would fix the weight and headheaviness problem...

You should be fine. If anything, I find the XPs measure 0.5-1g less than the label indicates. At least from the 7 I've ordered in the past few months.

Yeah the weight is rounded up. My 87g/300mm XP70 was lighter than both my TK8k and BS12N.

Btw it's supposed to be G5/G2 grip size but it is actually slightly larger possibly due to the cushier stock grip.

hi guys, newb here. been reading the reviews on this thread and the other one.
have to say that im really tempted to get one. but not sure which, XP70 or XP60?
currently im using BraveSword 11, absolutely lovin it but somehow feel like it lacks power..
had a chance to test out my friend's SW35, awesome power but quite slow compared to BRS series
which one shud i choose?

The only difference is stiffness. I found that the XP70 was stiff enough for me. You'll have to wait for the XP60 owners to chime in.
