Okay so I've been trying out a lot of different strings (BG66Ultimax, BG85, BG68Ti, BG80) and for some reason my strings actually break really often! I broke the BG85 in a week with around forty or so hours of play time at 26lbs. Even when I used BG66 Ultimax it didn't break that fast! Any string out there that offers both durability and playability equally?

dry cold canadian winter weather, especially where you are, is a dream for racket stringers! ;)

try lowering your tension for the winter, check your grommets, don't play with plastic birds, and try zymax 65 or 67

    Forty hours sounds pretty good.

I go through mine in about 3-4 weeks, roughly about 25 hours of play. zm65 @ 25lb

dang 40/wk, that's a normal work week here in the states, 8hrs/day. that's insane!!! but very cool that you get to play that much! i would also suggest you not leaving your bag in the car. other than that, i think your strings lasts fairly long. i play 4-6hrs a week and that lasts me a month or so.

If you are breaking your string often, try changing your grommets first.
After I changed mine, I hardly break the strings any more.

The cost to change for I racket is only RM 8 bucks.

Something's not right. Playing 40hrs/wk is probably more than your average professional given that they spend a lot of time training without a racquet and doing other things too.

If I was playing 40hrs/wk, breaking strings would be the least of my concerns. I'd be breaking myself!
