Need a racket recommendation!

Hi folks, racket broke! Only lasted a year. Nanospeed 900?.. (not exact..)

Budget of about £80-130. Can go either way.

I'm an aggressive doubles player and also play a lot of singles.
+ powerful smash
+ not a heavy head
+ good control

Not very clued up on how best to describe what I want, but problem is the salesman at the store really doesn't do me any favours when I'm talking to him about it - he'd probably let me walk out with an expensive piece of junk.
Hoping some of you can just give me a few good recommendations at the above price point. Did enjoy the Yonex before, don't like the Head I'm currently using as a cheap replacement, but don't mind if it's non Yonex I guess.

would be useful to know the Head racket you don't like.

Tbh it would be usefult to know the exact name of the yonex that did like as well!

Head powerhelix 7000, 86g G2
Thing is, I got a better smash from the Head but it took a fair bit of time to get used to it. I think it was the flexible shaft that puts me off. The Nanospeed felt lighter, though, maybe was the balance.

I'm pretty uneducated with exactly what would best suit me.. after a bit of research I'm guessing I should lean towards a stiffer shaft, balance slightly on head heavy.

Karyaw I can't find those. Can get Li Nings though, similar?

AT900t is now under £100 as well.

Since you got more power from the Head, I think that means a mid-flex would suit your swing more, though.

Perhaps, though, it's hard to say - I was more consistent with the Nano and felt more controlled. I think the Head was more head heavy, which is what gave the powerful smash. Just didn't enjoy the control and my backhand clearance suffered for a while. Thanks for the ideas.

Would you be interested in a Carlton Kinesis prototype? It's a kinesis but completely white from head to cone, no paint or branding at all. The only way to tell its Carlton is the end cap of the handle. It's got the twisted frame the same as all other kinesis. It's strung with black Xelerate x67 string. There is 1 very small scratch but hardly noticeable. I would let it go for £85 inc UK postage.

having used a power helix myself, i think it's just a tad bit head heavy and the shaft is mid flex. if it's too flexible for you, then you're more suitable with a stiff shaft. i believe someone suggested the yy at900t which is a great suggestion because it's slightly more head heavy than the power helix and the shaft is a bit heavier. it's still light weight, but the head heaviness which give you the punch you need for your heavy smashes. the light weight overall will still allow you quite a bit of manueverability. i haven't tried the other rackets suggested so i can't comment on them but i have tried the at900t and it's one of the best balance between control and power racket i've used.

Hello again, if a Voltric 80 4u is a good choice, does anyone know where I can get '4u' version of this? Only see 3u! Do you have to order in overseas or something?
