Good job Fran/Shendy!! They should prove their capability as top 10 pair by winning the title. Hopefully they can

hats off for Richard Mainaky who always have faith in Rijal/Debby and Fran/Shendy.
While many INA fans shout out loudly here and there sce last year asking Richard to split RiDeb and FranShen up....

He keeps working hard with his lads... and i think, now all the work hard has started to pay off.
Still, we have to wait and see further the progress of Rijal/Debby and Fran/Shendy

    Fran/Shendy vs Sudket/Saralee : 19-21 ; 21-15 ; 21-11

Fran/Shendy nailed it, following the success of Ina WD this morning, INA has two representatives in tomorrow semi's final. 100% success rate.

Lin Dan is rusty and struggling from R1. His fitness may be all right, racquet skills not fully back yet, but his most serious problem is lack of motivation (Rio is 3 years away, no effect at the moment). Whatever his result here, it probably has little bearing on his WC qualification as he himself said yesterday he's is out of the WC as there are at least 5 other CHN MS ranked above him, excluding Chen Jin who has retired, for even if he wins the title here, his ranking will at most be raised from the present 40 to about 25.

So I'd expect Wang Zhengming afterwards to push him hard if not beat him.

Agreed, not to mention other junior XD pair that is beginning to show their results, for example Riky/Richi, Irfan/Wenny, and several other XD pairs.

Gao Huan had better buck up now that his younger colleagues are hot on his heels, namely Tian Houwei, Xue Song and Qiao Bin. The other one in the same plight as Gao Huan is Chen Yuekun.

The CHN WS squad is on the whole not on firm ground lately. With WX and WL out due to injuries and WSX and HL not up to the task yet, the need to inject new blood is in earnest. However, their younger WS players aren't as promising nor doing as well as their male counterparts.

Surprisingly, all the three CHN MD pairs suffered early exits. I guess it's back to the drawing boards for them.

It is very sad for not having LD in WC...I want to see an epic battle between LD vs LCW once again. Just like 2012 LOG and 2011 WC.
