yup. and that's why i put the percentage at 30%. high enough to spring a surprise, but low enough that it will take a few other factors together to make it possible.

last time in Eindhoven, it was supposed to be China's win. but a tactical error by the team fielded an inexperienced Chen Hong against the dangerous Lee Hyun Il. they should've fielded Xia Xuanze instead who has a much better record against Korean players.

this time, it will have to be a combination of the hostile crowd, plus an inexperienced CB/HW, plus some mind block like in the UC 3 years ago, and a very inspired Korean team for that to happen.

Agree and Korean has better chance of beating China than other nations at this stage.

Absolutely, the order of play sets the team morale by winning the opening match.

Of course, not only that, by having the three disciplines that your team is stronger in played first, your chances of winning is higher. Say for CHN, it's MS,WD (or WD first followed by MS) then WS.

Just finished watching the replay of LXR - ST match. It's only in G3 that LXR stepped up her game and played like the LXR we know. IMHO, LXR got to improve on her accuracy, the many simple errors she made are just amateurish, way out by several inches, not just a couple. I believe if you're focused, the simple errors you made, unless forced by your opponents good play putting pressure on you, shouldn't be too far out, that's assuming your fitness isn't too bad.

Malaysia? Indonesia? girls are too weak.
    Thailand? India? very slim.
It's all between China and Korea

Other nations are too weak in their womens. Denmark is the next contender but also short of good womens players. Then probably Indonesia, then Thailand

It's good to note that China did not win all the five titles. The Koreans are to be commended for winning the men's and mixed doubles titles.

it may not be as formality as some would expect.
Note that the 1st ranked MaJin/Xu Chen pair is not in the tournament. Had they entered, they could win this for CHINA. ZYL/ZN is no longer the 1st one pair in XD anymore.

It's late but Totally agree with the above. Probably WS too to rake up ranking points for their "disadantaged players". That's how CBA doing it i guess.
I find it disgusting, therefore din watch it ,,,,

According to comments here, i guess CL put in a "good act" just to make it more real... can opt for a job in entertainment industry later...

I don't know about the MS as I didn't get to see it, but the WS definitely wasn't fixed. Both players went all out; WYH was just better. In fact, that WS match is one of the best I've ever seen. Such pace, such attack! You can't tell me that you'd have gotten better play if any other two players were involved.
