Whats up with Lin Dan and the number 17?
During the Olympic final he wore these shoes:
And during Peter Gade's retirment match in Copenhagen he wore those shoes and this shirt:
What does this number mean to him or to us? Just very curious if anyone knows :P

That's right, the number 17 refers to the 'World Championship' Team and Individual titles garnered by Lin Dan which to CBA means the Olympics, World Championships, Thomas/Uber Cups, Sudirman Cup, and the (now defunct) World Cup. See this thread http://www.badmintoncentral.com/foru...Heavenly-Kings
