i believe he used it 2012 as well. i was watching his games closely wondering how the heck he can get accurate shots off.

i bought one a few months ago and even tho it's quite flexible, the angle of my shots are way off when i switched from the vapour trail tour.

i have to agree, the matte finish is very sexy and not too common on badminton rackets. and the racket being almost all black brings back memories when i used to play with a yonex blacken.

He was using VT Elite. That (in the picture) must be X90, doesn't make sense switching to the original head light and flexi Kinesis.

He has been using the Kinetic since after the Summer break. Might have already used it at the Japan Open but definitely at the Denmark Open (have a high res pic to back it up as well ) .

I had the X80/90 in my hands, they have a gloss finish instead of the matte colour of the kinesis, it's a sort of purple/blue/black blend that seems to change colour in different lighting. So despite logic, it seems he did switch from a heavy/headheavy racket to a light ultraflex racket.

Does anyone here know a place in the US where I can buy the Carlton Kinesis x90? The only ones I see available is the Regular Kinesis. Or if I can somehow purchase it from the main website? Thanks
