i havent try the arcsaber z slash / zslash th . just wondering does the feeling come close with f9? or do u guys had other opinion which yonex racquet that has the same feeling as kason twister f9?
Yes, I am looking for alternatives for F9 too. F9 is great but my only concern is that it's slightly shorter compared to other rackets. I have hard time using it during mixed games because I couldn't reach far enough. I'm not sure any other F9 user have the same problem though.
I once owned a F9 before and still own a z-slash TH. My experience is they don't feel the same at all. F9 is very forgiving due to its large sweet spot while z-slash is the opposite. Comparing shaft stiffness, F9 is more flexible and more suitable for big swings. Because of its large sweet spot, smashes with F9 felt easier but not as focused. I don't feel the excitement of hitting the sweet spot with a Z-slash - just POW! Bottom line is Z-slash is more taxing physically and mentally compared to F9. F9 is sort of like your reliable easy friend and Z-slash is like your wild fun friend.
And I never encounter any yonex racket that feels like F9. Best bet would be Voltric 70 but doubt it is as flexible.
thanks for the input anyone. yup agreed. the f9 itself is larger sweetspot. therefore could easily execute smash and other shot. but its not as accurate as other. and about the vt70 it does have the easily access of power. but somehow the sweetspot is smaller. need to really hit the place.
kason racket... n yonex..racket.... not comparable....at all.. one made in china.... one made in japan... different category...leh..
VT60 only comes in 4U. Furthermore, F9 has a more aerodynamic frame shape. I doubt they'll feel the same.
If you like the F9, why not just stick with that? What is it about the Yonex brand that makes them more preferable even if they don't have a racquet you find suitable? Just because they are a powerhouse doesn't mean they are right for everyone. At least I hope that is the case.
Bigger sweet area and flex... Sound like AT-70 MG2. But F9 feel solid and stable (less vibration), right.
