    Default Do I have to put down my MP99 =(

    I recently snapped the strings on my MP99 and upon inspection, noticed a possible crack on underneath a paint chip. Is it a hairline crack? Is it worth restringing (NBG 98, 27lb)?

    as a former mp99 freak myself.. i would say string it and play till it snaps.

    the mp99 frame is multi-layer, it looks like a scratch on the outer layer of carbon fibre. if you have a 400-500x microscope you can consider taking a peek.
