I think Tang Jinhua is more comfortable playing back court with Ma Jin in WD than front court with Zhan Nan in XD. Perhaps CHN doubles coaches know she is able to adjust her game accordingly as time goes by.

He used to play as a junior - he played our national county U17 tournament final for Notts vs Marcus Ellis of Yorkshire back when he was 15. I'd have played against him in the group stages had they not put out their 'doubles specialist' against me and still thrashed me

- Gabby White also played in that final for Yorkshire.
