I like Adcock/Ellis's never-die spirit. They simply refuse to buckle under pressure and manage to frustrate the INA pair with their speed and attacking play.

Yet another Indonesian lost a set when already leading 19-14. Sigh.....these problems will never disappear.

First impressions of this Japanese player...he looks a bit emotional with his body language. Sharp and confident at the start but once he went behind the shoulders slumped a bit and he kinda lost his sharpness...looks like he's got it back together now.
Unfortunately for him the badminton europe stream has shortened his name to TAKESHIT on the scoreboard

Aprilia Yuswandari finally makes it to R16, taking the rubber-set 21-15.
Gebby Ristiyani Imawan/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah also had to go through 3-sets before taking the match. They will have a tough task of beating the top-seed Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi, who has yet to be beaten by INA WD pair lately.

Wisnu Yuli Prasetyo is doing well now, leading Chou Tien Chen 13-8. It will be a very good result if he can progress to R16.

Any lead is simply not safe if it involves INA players. Once again, Wisnu and Bona/Afiat lead a comfortable lead slip away.

Thrilling end of game, despite an average level of play. The Thai lost his nerves and control of the game, but managed to push it to the overtime points at 20-19 for Zavadsky, back to 20-20. Tanongsak finally wins it 22-20 after push a high pressure on his opponent in the final rally.
