This womens game is a dud.
Li Xuerui is on court next, but I find myself asking why is the world number one playing in a GPG event? Some of the China team have been struggling to make the required minimum super series tournaments, do GPG events count too?
Perhaps it's sponsor pressure? or conditioning in preparation for the All England Championship?

This was NOT Lee Yong Dae's day.... he played awful by his standards. Kudos to Liu/Qiu though who penetrated their defense quite brilliantly. Definitely an exciting pair! Congrats to Takahashi, that was a great fight!
Still feeling a bit put off by the line call at 18-19 in the second game of the Kim/Kim-Kindervater/Schoettler match. It was at least 10cm out (attempted net kill by KSR, I believe), just as bad as the call against Lee YD in the 2008 AE SF...
