Switch from flying to fixed clamps.

Hi guys,

I have an old Shuttle Express stringer, and i really miss the fixed clamps i had on my old one.. does anyone know if its possible to install that on a machine which is designed for flying clamps?

I have seen variations on these machines that have one fixed clamp, but to have two you would need a flat turntable.

Unless you've very good at "home-made solutions", it's not really possible.

One clamp could actually do it. For some reason i always thought of them as a set. Do you have any good references for a single fixed clamp?

i have a similar machine and i had the same thought as you.

however, in the end, to DIY even just one clamp onto it is just too much headache.
