Are SP coded rackets made to a higher standard than CD coded rackets? I have a few SP and CD coded rackets and noticed that the paint job (the joints between different colors of paint) on the CD ones looked like it had more flaws than the SP one. This makes me wonder... are SP coded rackets higher a higher quality than CD coded rackets?
I personally don't think they are any different, I usually buy SP coded rackets. That being said, I once traded with someone and they gave me a look like my SP coded was lower quality than their CD coded racket.
Had 3 copies of the same model once. They don't play different, not are the finishes of diff quality.
U.might be the 62th million person asking that question. High end Yonex rackets are made in Japan. After making them, yonex code them for distribution. There is no direct comments for the question from yonex but in my experience and many others, rackets with different codes are same, the codes are for the distribution purposes.
Well, they are not the same rackets... But looking at a ns9000 from Hong Kong and comparing to the arc zs and vt70, the quality on the arc zs and vt70 look inferior to the paint job on the ns9000. I guess it's just Yonex's paint job quality standard is lower now...
Oh and also dont get confused if u, by any chance see an additional technology name on the shaft of a JP coded racket. I read somewhere that JP rackets actually has an additional naming on the shaft vs other coded rackets.
