Kor XD pair leads 2nd set interval, hopefully Riky/Richi could take the 2nd set and won the match.

Richi, despite having a good defense, always lift the shuttle to the smasher standing position, which make it easier for the smasher to smash as hard as he can.

Yao Xue has yet to impress me. I only remember her as the unknown who surprisingly knocked out Tine Baun in the CHN Open 2011, after nothing was heard of her. Then in the MAS Open 2012, she had a good run to the final only to lose in an amaterish manner gifting many points by hitting long or wide and being caught off-guard several times by Tai TY's deceptiveness. In the AUS Open last week, she lost in the 1st round.

Though she beat Pai Hsiao Ma fairly convincingly yesterday, I doubt she can make it to the final. Akane looks good going by the score proceedings.

Akane Yamaguchi denied all CHN final as she defeated Yao Xue and will take on another Chinese WS tomorrow, Deng Xuan.

An unusual occurrence, at 10-all the shot was called 'in' for LDK when it was 'out', then the umpire asked for a replay.

Xue Song is playing a more rallying than his usual attacking game. Learning to be an all-rounder?
