I used to play 8 years ago and I stopped. So now, I'm thinking of getting back into the sport. I had the Yonex Carbonex 8 Tour SP and I still have it now, I honestly don't know if it's any good I mean considering all these new "technology". I just want to hear your guys' thoughts on it.
Have an old (vintage) carbonex 8, but without tour. So i don't know if your racket is similar or different. It was a big improvement over wooden frames and even comes with a "Full Carbon Shaft". I still like it very much. Todays rackets are a bit longer and usually a little easier to play with, but i would keep it and take care of it!
I've figured that the latest rackets have been surprisingly light. I understand what you mean, and ill surely take care of it. I mean, it was what got me into the sport years ago.
your post reminded me to put some new strings on my cab 8 and now looking forward to next week. i guess i like this oldschool style and it is a way to let a win over fancy arcsaber stuff feel even better. of course i also enjoy the latest repaint of my favorit yonex racket combined with a silly new name, but not next week
Yes, it is. It looks like this: http://s186.beta.photobucket.com/user/patchx2909/media/Carbonex8TourSp4.jpg.html
I'm glad I reminded you, and I'm also glad to know it's not just me who enjoys that feeling when I win against people with those fancy "Arcsabers". cheers!
your cab 8 tour looks like a good full carbon racket. here i found a pic of original cab 8: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/13695-your-racquet-pics!?p=1612520#post1612520 cheers!
