I got an email from ebay written as below: *********************************************** Please be advised that the following auction: 3634823533 - YONEX Transporter T112 Badminton Tennis Bag was ended early by eBay. The auction was ended due to the account suspension of the seller. All results for this auction are null and void. Regards, Customer Support (Trust and Safety Department) eBay Inc ************************************************* Does anyone know what is going between ebay and the seller? It seems that all of the stuff posted by seller were revoke.
his username is "Laurence" here in BF. the last time he posted was 10-16. not seen him post since then. let's hope he is ok.
lets just hope the best for him shall we? i was also curious in buying one of his rackets from ebay and he gives great support and is very patient.
I just bought one bag from him on ebay and he disappeared right after I paid by paypal. I noticed it since he didn't replied my email concerning about shipment confirmation. Hope he's ok, or I have to talk to paypal to ask my money back
I guess he is back with a new ID. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3637414494&category=2919
so what's the point to give up a well-established ID and rebuild his reputation again? His reputation is not bad, so I can't see the point. Is Laurence here and would like to explain?
I am alive . . . mystery of CHUN123 Wow, it is actually nice to be noticed when you are gone. It is even nicer that, with one exception, to find out no one posted some crazy stuff about me . . . however, I would like offer a grand explanation as to why my eBay ID got suspended - such as Laurence embezzled $1million, or Laurence got abducted by aliens, or Laurence's business got bought out by a badminton addict with very deep pockets; the truth is, eBay claims my contact information is incorrect. As a Canadian eBay user, I was registered on eBay USA in 1999. When my credit card on file expired, I could NOT add my new credit card on to eBay USA's system. For the last 6 months, I've paid eBay on time via their PayPal system. Then without notice, they suspended my ID. FYI, email from eBay below: ----- FIP NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension - Contact information - timsports@shaw.ca Dear chun123 (timsports@shaw.ca), We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended due to the violation of our site policy below: False or missing contact information - Falsifying or omitting your name, address, and/or telephone number (including use of fax machines, pager numbers, modems or disconnected numbers). Due to the suspension of this account, please be advised you are prohibited from using eBay in any way. This prohibition includes the registering of a new account. Please note that any seller fees due to eBay will immediately become due and payable. eBay will charge any amounts you have not previously disputed to the billing method currently on file. If you would like your account to be considered for reinstatement, please reply to this email. We will then contact you with a brief list of requirements that you will need to fulfill in order to be considered for reinstatement. Regards, SafeHarbor Department eBay Inc ----- After numerous emails, I have not heard back from eBay. Just as I built up Chun123 before, I am going to continue where I left off . . . so customers who have paid for goods under CHUN123 will receive their orders as promised. Email response will be a bit slow, as you can imagine, numerous eBay customers are wondering . . . what did Laurence (Chun123) do with my money??? . . . I did enjoy the guess that my system got hacked into though (I actually had the passwords saved into 'autofill' and when autofill did not work, it took me a little while to dig up passwords too)
eBay's tightening up their policies ever since paypal did that thing *ahem* and got fined $100 million dollars by the US.
a few groups used paypal to launder *a lot* of money. Those groups were involved in human/drug smuggling, child porn, illicit gambling, among other things. Paypal just collected its fees and looked the other way. Department of Justice felt that was a no-no. Sicne then, ebay/paypal have cared alot more about the identity of its users.
Re: I am alive . . . mystery of CHUN123 Laurence, Feel sorry about u. Sometimes, we just got blamed for "stupid rules" (bugs) that we got no control with. I am sure very soon, u will get your reputation back on ebay. Still, u might need still talk with ebay, for the protential damage in your business. Hmmm... some of the badminton shirt looks good...
Laurence, How about some nice discounts for BF.com members?? We'll order some stuff and fill your feedback with a lot of positive comments in no time flat!! hahahaha~ I noticed most of your new shirts on EBay are a cotton/polyester blend. Do you have any that are all polyester?
in US, there is something called "back to school sales" , I am wondering if you are going to do a "back to ebay sales" (That woud be nice!!)
