Hiya I was wondering what ever happened to Head rackets? I quite liked the Helix 5000 and now their £130 Head youtek Neon 8000 is like £55, which I'm interested in getting. So my question is what happened to Head, and has anyone tried head badminton rackets? Mo [h=1][/h]
They moved away from badminton. Their rackets had a really nice value for money but they never had a big breakthrough.
Agree^ Head had some good rackets and you could always find a good deal in the UK. However they 'quit badminton' so stocks wont be getting replaced. I used the metallix 8000 tour and power helix 8000 and enjoyed both.
Same as what the people above have said I believe they have stopped producing badminton products. I borrowed a head metallix 10000 of a friend for a couple of weeks and it was lovely balance racket to use that felt very solid. I recommend trying them.

I guess they haven't completely stopped. Here in my country they sell a NEW series of badminton rackets.
well ordered a Head YouTek Neon 8000 from ebay for £49.99 with BG80 strings at 24lbs, see what their top of the line racket is like with that 3do material
