There has no updated yet or M/Q List for Ciputra Hanoi Vietnam Challenge. Is anybody know who are INA players will be sent to this tournament?

Surprisingly, many INA pairs had withdrew from this tourney. The only INA's representative in XD, Edi Subaktiar/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja [5] becomes the first pair to reach QF. A decent start for them as they fulfill their seeding but they have a tough task against the more experiencedChan Yun Lung/Tse Ying Suet [2] for a place in the SF. I will be pleasantly surprised if Edi/Gloria can win that match! Siswanto reaches R16 (to be played tonight), but he has a tough match against Pannawit Thoungnuam. Lots of casualties in the first round yesterday, with Panji Akbar Sudrajat, Anthony Ginting, Mohd Bayu Pangisthu, and Alrie Guna Dharma [8] being eliminated. Some surprises too as Thomi Azizan Mahbub beat Khosit Phetpradab to reach R32. Let's see if he can beat Do Tuan Duc, who beat Soong Joo Ven [16] in the first round. Jaya Raya's Adi Pratama [14] also has a chance to fulfill his seeding as he faces Tan Kian Meng later. I Putu Roy Danu Wira Dharma and Ihsan Maulana Mustofa also progressed to R32. In WS, Ruselli Hartawan will face the top-seed Yang Li Lian for a place in the QF, while Hana Ramadhini has a chance against Lim Chiew Sien. Although Millicent Wiranto is seeded second, I don't think she will fulfill her seeding. 3 MD pairs and 1 WD pair will begin their campaign today.
Some upsets by INA's youngster, Ihsan Maulana MUSTOFA - Poodchalat PISIT [2] 21-19 21-12 Ruselli HARTAWAN - Li Lian YANG [1] 19-21 21-14 22-20
i think pisit has decreased a lot since he is studying in chulalongkorn univ. study at chula is quite tough. i think pisit work more on his study. but still, this is an upset. ruselli make me shock too. i really hope liang chiusia can guide her to be much better player.
Sadly, none of the INA MS players could progress to QF. Surprisingly though, we still have 3 INA WS players in the QF. Let's see how many of these survive today. In MD and WD, R16 will be played this morning, followed by QF at night. Except for Ade Yusuf/Wahyu Nakaya (the top-seed), the other 2 pairs (junior pair of Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho and Ririn Amelia/Melvira Oklamona) will find it difficult to progress.
The MD top seed results made for some interesting reading. Their first round match was very close with a HK new pairing. Mixed doubles quarter finals - 4 pairs are from Chinese Taipei, 3 from Hong Kong, one from Indonesia
Fernando Kurniawan is more senior compared to both the INA players. Lee Chun Hei also reached the Final of Chinese Taipei GPG and won the WJC title last year.
I know But I wouldn't be surprised if the HKG pair actually won, despite this being their first tourney as a pair.
I have always liked Lee Chun Hei since 3 years ago when he won a WJC bronze medal. He made a wise decision of concentrating in doubles (as compared to Ng Ka Long who chose to focus in singles from this year onwards). The HKBA coach also paired him well with the experienced Chau Hoi Wah since last year in the Mixed and this year, I think he and Edo (Fernando Kurniawan) should do well to rise up to the top 50 by end of this year.
As expected, Edi Subaktiar/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja lost to the second-seeded HKG pair. Ade Yusuf/Wahyu Nayaka also lost in 3 tight-sets (20-22 in the rubber-set). At the moment, INA only has Hana Ramadhini and Millicent Wiranto remaining for the SF tomorrow.
The last MD pair Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho also lost tragically (yet another 20-22 in the rubber-set)!
