Here we go for the 1st sirnas...
today is the last day of Djarum Sirnas Kalimantan

    TS link : http://tournamentsoftware.com/sport/...358&d=20130330

    There are some interesting reslts.
I will follow closely on BS U-19 and U-17; GS U-19 and U-17
maybe following also on U-15. not much interested on BD. maybe badMania has greater interest on this category hehe

ok, i am happy to see Fitriani moved up to U-19 and show some promise.
She will fight in the final day after beating some seeded players. Arinda Sari Sinaga will be her last opponent in the final. let see.

Happy too, to see Rohmat Abdul Rohman (Fitriani's brother) show some progress as he will be in the BS U-19 final today.

if both can get some good results this year, both have a relatively good chance to enter Pelatnas.

Interesting result too in BS U-17.
Two unknown boy (at least for me) Andri Wijaya and Hendra Gustiawan will be in the final today.
anyone know them ?? maybe, Sandy ??

Just check who is Andri Wijaya.
Last year he played under PB. Guna Dharma.
In Sirnas Jakarta & Bandung he played from Qualification Round and passed to Semi Final and lost to some "famous" names, Anthony Ginting & Bayu Pangisthu in 3 set (both Anthony & Bayu are pulled in Pelatnas then).

Most of the Djarum's BD U-19 players have been recruited into Pelatnas, leaving behind Hantoro, Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra, Yantoni Edy Saputra, Tedi Supriadi, Abu Bakar and Ricky Alverino Sidharta.

Unlike last year where the candidates for the AJC & WJC were very clear (Edi/Arya, Hafiz/Putra, and Kevin), this year, besides Kevin/Rafi, it's really up for grabs, especially with PB Djarum mixing and matching its pairs once again with the pairing of Hantoro/Ricky, Tedi/Abu Bakar, and Arsya/Yantoni.

PB Jaya Raya also splits up its BD U-19 pairs and now they have: Aldo Abdillah/R. Eka Fajar Kusuma, and Mohd Alfian Sangaji/Rian Swastedian.

Eventually, the newly formed pair of Hantoro/Ricky Alverino Sidharta won the BD U-19 title.

More surprisingly in XD U-19, Rian Swastedian/Masita Mahmudin (whom I rate as INA's best U-19 pair this year) lost to Fajar Alfian/Inten Ratnasari of PB SGS PLN, who also eventually won the title today!
BTW...where is Kevin Ersa? The second-seed from Jaya Raya, Aldo Abdillah/Desaula Gendy also lost early. This does not bode well for INA's XD challenge in both AJC & WJC 2013.

badMania, you better follow the progress of Mutiara's next star after Ricky Karanda, Rafli Rizki Ristian.
He is quite great in front of the net. i dont want to hype him, but his height remind me of Hendra Setiawan. a tall guy who play in front of the net. his stroke is quite great. If he is in front of the net, Hantoro/Ricky didnt have any answer how to pass the shuttle over Rafli. only waiting Rafli to make errors. I really love to watch his backhand drive, quite dangerous...

Actually, Rafli/Stefan is better than Hantoro/Ricky in any aspect especially in 1st and 2nd game. better power, better defense, better controlling tempo, better drives. but, when the score is 17-14 in 2nd set for Rafli/Stefan, Rafli start to commit some errors. too confident and underestimate djarum's pair. they get the match point at 20-19, but again, Rafli make unforced errors in serving.

in 3rd set, Rafli lost focus, as his stamina looks weaker. so the momentum goes to Hantoro/Ricky. I believe, Rafli can be in Pelatnas next year or next 2 years if he plays consistently. He has everything to be there. He need a better partner btw... Let see....

Great to see Fitriani and Rohmat Abdul Rohman get their 1st Taruna title.
Really hope to see them play consistently in Taruna.
I think, baring any injuries, Fitriani and Gregoria Mariska will enter Pelatnas when they are 16 yo (Fitriani in 2013 and Gregoria in 2014). They have really good progress. Priskila also impress me. Let see if they can keep their consistency.

from what sandy's said, it looks like that Andri Wijaya can be another gem. great !

Djarum should be aware of Mutiara.
in BS U-17 and U-15, Mutiara dominated QF stage. many Djarum prodigy such as Ramadhani and Calvin, still have to train harder.
in U-17, 6 out of 8 are Mutiara boys.
in U-15, 2 of 4 in semifinals from Mutiara

meanwhile, the very talented Hendra Gustiawan is on course to another final again.
need an age check, as for me, his skill is too mature for U-17.
War between Mutiara vs Djarum will continue.
