I've read that the BG 80 doesn't peform well with low Tension. Is that true?

I play with feather. I plan to strung my racket with BG80 25x27Lbs. I hope it performs well.

NBG99 is a really good control string. BG80 has lots of smashing power.

Bg80 22lbs with plastic will require an intermediate to advanced player with a fast swing as bg80 is the hardest feeling string around. There is practically no hold feeling to the stringbed, which is not what your hand will like as plastic already feels harsher on strike.

For plastic, you need a softer feeling string, like bg65, nbg99.

On the other hand, bg80 is great for feather because feather is lighter feel on strike.

So what type of string do you reccomend? I want something that is durable, good repulsion power and control. Im an intermediate player i do play lots and i normally use feather birdies.

if you are going to string something at 22, why not just get bg65, and string it a few lbs higher and see how you like it.

i string everything at 24x25 but when i strung bg65 at 24x25, my shots are all over the place, so string it at 24lbs with bg65 and see if you like it, and start feeling the string out and then judge what you want more of and what you want less of from a string. then we can give you more suggestions. to be honest bg65 is not a bad string to start, it's basic in my opinion. the only reason why i'm not used to bg65 is because i've used victor vs850 for a couple years.....

In the previous post i said i usually play with feathers typing error i play with plastic and i dont like the Bg 65 at 22 maybe ill string it at 23 or 24 to see.
