Hi all, I'm currently using armortec 900p, liking the racquet. However, my friend told me that the voltric 70 is an upgrade of the at900p. I would like to know is it true? Would like to heard from anyone. Even better ifmunhave used both racquets. Thanks in advance
If you like AT900P and wants to look for an update, please have a try on VT80, VTZF, VTZF LTD, AT700PR and Lining N90. VT70 is just too soft as an upgrade for 900P. I have owned and played with all of those mentioned racket, and that's what i feel.
i have tried VT80, VYZF,VTZF LTD and the N90...they are way too heavy and stiff for me...haven tried the VT70 tho.
I'm using both rackets. De frame of the AT900P is stiffer. So you'll have better control (netshots, defense). I find the VT70 easier to generate power. Maybe because I'm more of a swing type player.
i think the vt70 is a newer version of the at900t, not 900p, and also the vt70 doesn't feel as solid as the 900T to be honest. and, i know that the 900P is head heavier than the 900T, so if you want something with the same head haviness, try the vt80 or vtzf like what was recommended already.
it is possible that the racket string tension is too high for you, since you are just testing it on whatever string and string tension used on that racket. I had made smooth transition from 900P to VT80,VTZF, VTZFLTD, 700PR and N90. So far, 700PR, VTZFLTD and N90 are my favorites.
AT900P to VT70 seems to me like commons sense upgrade. V80 and VTZF 3u are different beasts, N90 is nothing like AT900P. All these have much heavier swing weight. Have a look at Li ning N50II too.
Personally I don't think that VT70 is the upgrade of AT900P. First, VT70 head balance is way lighter. Second, VT70 have a flexible shaft. Thus, the overall feeling is very different. However, both are great rackets Well like the other says, VT80, VT Z force are considered as the upgrade of AT900P.
Try the 4U VT80 - a bit lighter, or maybe go to the gym.... I did this upgrade (AT900P to VT80) and loved it.... no issues from the 3U on my end. Recently I sold the VT80 and got the VT80PG because it looks so freakin good.
Yes the AT900P is head heavier and stiffer than the VT70 so VT70 is not exactly an upgrade. Power generation wise I feel that there's not much difference between them, unless you rely mostly on the head weight to generate your power. Since you mentioned that VT80 and anything above it is too head heavy and stiff for you, then you may have to look into other brands.
Thanks guys...I have bought the voltric 70....I got used to it really easy(probably because I use both at900p and at900t.. ..liking the racquet right now.
