I usually buy my own strings and take it to the shop. They charge $12 CDN for labour only.

That is assuming that the stringer buys the strings from China directly. However I can tell you that the prices are higher when buying from local (official) distributors than some stores in China/HK...

wholesale prices in the US/Canada for Yonex strings is higher than retail prices in Asia, esp for high end strings like NBG98. This is one of the reasons why the final stringing prices is so much higher here at retail.

I charge $12 for labour or $17 including Yonex BG-65. Any other strings generally will be $20 - except the newer more expensive strings. My price is low because I am giving something back to the badminton community. Others including shops generally charge around $25 including common strings.

I string up to 27lbs on demand, but usually won't string a racquet with a crack in the frame - even a minor crack.

We had to ship the rackets with broken strings to our trusted shop (badmintonversand.de), so we paid about 24€ / racket with a Superbraid string (including shipping).
1 1/2 years ago I started to do it myself and I take ~14 € for the labour cost.
Sportshops (we don´t have special Badmintonshops in Germany I believe) take 20-25 € and do not really know how to do it properly, because their mainbusiness in terms of stringing is tennis and squash.

I string my own rackets. For labour only I ask 10 euro's. Depending on the strings it will be 12.5 euro (bg65) or 15 euro (bg80,ng98,ultimax66) Guess I am kinda cheap in Holland.

In my part of Canada, the average at clubs seems to be as follows (ballpark)
    BG 65/65Ti - 22/24$ CAD
    BG80 - $30
    NBG95 - $32
    NBG98 - $34
    BG80P - $38

they appear to order North American string which seems to be the reason for high prices.
I order from MBS most of the time and charge less.... mostly just for intermediate players.

most non-pro stringers charge 5gbp for labour, or roughly 10gbp with strings around here. the pros charge around 12gbp for labour, though quality can vary greatly.

My stringer charges $7-15 for the strings and a $13 labor fee. Really good stringer too.

I do stringing only for my friends. Charge 120-140 SEK depending on string (BG65-BG80).
Racket shop at the badminton hall takes 200-240 SEK ......

Think I will break even two years after invsting in the machine, from now on every stringing is making me money
