I'm weighing up between these two. Zymax is crisper but much worse when the shuttle is tired/slow. I love the repulsion. Micropower more consistent but less feel. I cannot comment on durability yet. Has anyone chosen between these two, if so which one and why? Thanks.

I ordered more micropower. It is more forgiving but still gives the same crisp sound and power when hitting it sweetly but is more forgiving. Tested them both at the same tension so maybe I need the zymax 1lb less but the MP66 seems the better of the two. Nice enough that I am not tempted to try any other strings. I also like the metallic 'ping' versus the 'crack' of the zymax.

Serves me right for liking a random string that no-one has an opinion on. Yay Yonex. As for durability the MP66 popped on a delicate backhand block at the net, after some proper hefty smashes :) Favouring the Z65 now as power was higher but I need to reduce tension from 23 to 20lbs so not sure if it will not be so crisp/loud/powerful.
