Hey Visor! what do you think of a RKEP xp70 that's 87g 297mm ? Are the xp70's solid (when they hit the birdy)? I'm coming from a BS10 and I can't help but feel that it's fragile when I hit so I want a more solid racket.

Dang... this is ending up to be an XP70 thread. Time to change the title!

Of course it's excellent! I have one exactly in that spec. The MX lower frame does add some much needed punch to the BS frame. To be really sure of your preferred specs, you should accurately weigh and measure the bp of your BS10.

My BS10 is around 297 mm but I don't know the weight because I don't have a scale to measure light things :/ perhaps I should get a head heavier spec since i'm lazy and the BS10 makes me work hard

Should have asked earlier to save postage at least. You're in TO?

My preference is head heavy so I have no issues with any head heavy racquet I have used. I only have issues with even balanced and stiff shafted racquets.

But if I were exclusively a doubles playes, I would probably go BS12 or at least try a BS first!
Head heavy is not for everyone and it has the potential to slow down your defense!
Hi Elisha...sorry to interrupt...is TK8000 and Thruster the same racket?

Yup. So far only 1 in the Thruster series. The Iron Man 3 version is a repainted TK8000.

Owh...it's the same racket...coz I got confused when u said:

'The TK8000 is the racquet with the most control that I have yet to use.'

    Then u said:

'I liked the Thruster so much that I bought a second one.'

Maybe typo or I misunderstood when u said u have yet to use, then suddenly bought another one...

"...that I have used yet" would've been the correct phrasing, meaning "that I have used so far".
    TK-8000 = Thruster K-8000

For me the TK8000 is perfect. Extremely fast even for doubles. I can return smashes consistently more than 3 times in a row in a fast doubles game whereas 3 is the max for my Vt-80 or JJS. It's just a fast racquet for me overall. I'm tempted to try a BS12 to see if the sword frame would be faster for me.
