ChaoPai will raise price. True or scam?

    Received this email from shuttlecombo:

    As Chaopai north america shuttlecock distributor, we received notice that due to H5N7,
    Chaopai shuttlecock prices will be increased after May 1, 2013.

    We are making efforts to offer discounted prices for pre-orders before price adjustment.
    Payment needs to be paid before May 1st, 2013.
    New shuttles will be delivered to you around mid June.

    Here are the payment links:

    25 tubes of Chaopai Red @ 18.95 each
    50 tubes of Chaopai Red @ 18.35 each
    25 tubes of Chaopai Purple @ 18.45 each
    50 tubes of Chaopai Purple @ 17.85 each

    There is another thread about it in this area of the forums. But basically, H5N7 is a bird flu that is affecting geese in China and the Eastern Asia region. So, shuttlecock prices are expected to increase because of the shortage of feathers.
