    Hi guys,

i have a mx JJS and a super waves 35.

For head heavy, JJS is rated 4/5 while superwaves 35 is rated 3/5.

for my JJS, strung with karakal grip has a BP of 298mm

for my superwaves35 with original grip has BP of 313mm.

    Why is this a?? Puzzling!!!!

maybe they rate their rackets by the way it swings, so while the MX is not as head heavy as the SW, when you swing it it might feel head heavier?

the reason why i say this is because the superwave35 was never too head heavy for me. just my person opinion :)

How heavy are the grips, what are the usual BP's, and where is the weight situated in the rackets?

The grips will probably be different weights and the position of the weighting in the racket frames may be different as well. Eg. If a racket has the weight at the top of the racket head it will feel head heavier than if the racket has the weight on the sides of the head.

I don't think the manufacturers scales are very accurate or maybe they measure it based on how it feels when being played.
When I had my JJS, it felt head heavier than my Vt-80 when just holding it.
But when playing it feels different.

    I see I see.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe they really do measure it based on how it feels when being played.

When i compared vtzf to the above two mentioned racquets, vtzf is much much more head heavy when held and when played.
