As long as their end results (ie tension and frequency) are consistent, then it's still good.
Agreed, most important are how the stringers utilize their equipment. Also, does not really need latest n greatest ECP machines to get decent results. Just like driving a car, it is the DRIVER that matters the most (in most cases, except in competitions). My stringer's results are better than guys w/ Yonex/Lining ECP machines in my city, more playable n retain its original frame shape.
