What racket is this...

here's a side by side. It does look like a mp99. The shaft color is probably just a reflection of the light. Everything matches up pretty well.

It is not a Yonex racket.. the shaft is thicker compare to mp99

from measurement from the screen, the width of ronald's racket is 1.46X wider than the mp99 sample pic attached. The shaft diameter of the sample mp99 has to be prorated accordingly.

Ronald Susilio being a Yonex sponsored player, being photographed in a tournament playing with any racquet other than a Yonex, chancing getting caught and losing his sponsorship or worse... not likely unless he is must be one of the stupidest people on this earth, or this thread is...

there are far better things to talk than this nonsense from conclusions made from a fuzzy photo.

I think it's a new version of the Mp99 with a metal shaft! Wow what a concept. I can't believe you guys haven't thought about that one. ( I think it's the lights and somebody who started this thread was looking to stir things up) Is it April 1st?

yeah, agree with the lighting. i really ddin't have any doubts about it; when i saw the pic, i already had the lighting factor in my head before reading any of the other posts that talk about it being another racket.

seems to me that the fact that he's wear yonex everything should point in the direction he should be using a yonex racket, this being the mp99

Definately an MP99. Picture is at HK Open 2003. He was using MP99 at Indonesia Open 2003 and Denmark Open 2003.

i think you're right, i've seen a few of these 'clonex' fleet rackets, including the yellow ti roller power rp90 one and i notice that it is lighter in colour than the authentic mp99, but i have no idea why Susilo is using such a scrappy racket (no offence intended) if he is sponsored by yonex so...
