European badminton fans rejoice !! I can't remember when such a major TV-channel such as Eurosport broadcasted badminton but they will be showing the last of the star-grade tournaments, the 1* International Open from Saarbrücken, Germany, 2-7 Dec. Don't ask me why they decided to show this event and why the WC etc. - to the best of my knowledge - went unnoticed. To those who don't know what eurosport is: It's probably the largest sportschannel in europe, available freely all over europe on satellite. Oh, and I'll tape it for all the others who can't receive eurosport even though I haven't figured out how I should make it available. I don't have the kind of bandwidth that swijaya0101 has..
This is *wonderful* news! Anyone ever recall watching badminton on eurosport in recent times? Go to www.eurosport.com and click on the "TV Schedule" on the top right and then select "3/12". Check 15.15.. Hey, check 4/12, 5/12 and 7/12 too, just noticed that they're trying to cover the whole tournament.. note that it says "live" too!
For those of you that don't have access to Eurosport, there will be live streaming on the tournament site from friday: http://www.bitburger-open.de
