From the SC Photos thread, its pretty apparent the INA team's priority is food, good food, and LOTS of good food!

Their team attire backs them up on this as well, with "Indofood" prominently (and proudly) displayed on thier shirts.

Wow! That ended pretty quick. Yesterday I was impressed but now I am depressed....LOL! No not really. The Indonesians displayed some super racket skills to which the Indians had no answer to. They were literally defending from the from the base line. If they defend from that far obviously they'r gonna keep the opposition forecourt player busy. Suputra made the difference between the two teams.

A very comfortable victory for Indonesia, the Netherlands and Ukraine in the first match.

Sindhu will have a lot of pressure to rescue the tie in this next match, and so far has not yet reached her momentum.

Singapore MD gave the Japanese a few heart stopping moments, but no cigar ......

I noticed that the Korean lady coach has now shifted allegiance to New Zealand - now working hard to turn the fortunes of the NZ siblings. Seems to be working too - they are up at the changeover in the rubber, and their Sri Lankan opponents are not too shabby either.

The trick in MD is the change of pace - and no one does it better than Indonesian pairs.

There is a huge gap between the men's doubles standards of the two countries which is why I was pretty sure India weren't going win this particular rubber. A close rubber would have been good publicity though.

Lindaweni is forcing shots now - ala Malaysian WD pair. With the same results, mostly errors self inflicted.

Finally the Korean lady coach powered NZ XD siblings won ..... wonder if she fed them her favourite "Nasi Gorang" .........

Linda wins game 1 after continuous misjudgements from Sindhu.

The Ukraine MS player is pretty explosive - body mass is similar to Asian build too ....

Mitani has taken game one by forcing Gu Juan on a tough workout.

Meanwhile Eric Pang hardly raised a sweat - clinching his team's 2nd point in double quick time.

What do you think about the young PHI player Mark Alcala?
