Thank God. The slowest professional MD match in terms of hitting power and pace of movement just concluded with the Swiss beating Kazakhstan.

Honestly, Sung Ji Hyun and Yippy at the adjoining court could hit harder .......

I think the problem with Yippy is that she's not sufficiently calm before the start of a new rally. Didn't gather her thought process - and thus the alternating good winners and bad mistakes.

Yes, not only that, she's in tears as shown on TV, oh dear. Someone comfort her, please. Victory and defeat is part and parcel in any competition. There is more to life than any sport or profession, the higher things I mean.

Indeed, INA doesn't field Lindaweni and Towi/Liliyana since INA has progressed into last eight.

TPE tops group 1C after won over GER 5-0 and 3-2 against MAS yesterday.

    Poor Yippy just disintegrated.
Perhaps the pressure of needing to win that crucial match was too great.

Who will Ina face as r-up group in QF ??

Surprised coaches put Greys/Nitya again instead of younger pairs such as Suci/Della or Gebby/Tiara...or surprised pair Mel/Lily...since it's gone case anyway it's better to field them....it's good for their exposure

Oh Dang, Canada lost 3-2. On paper they should have taken the XD which would have reversed the final score. An opportunity lost. SIGH!

Did you watch any of the match? Did our XD team play badly?

Toby stated recently, elsewhere on BC, that they hadn't played much together and that he felt his partner was more focused on doubles rather than mixed. Not to make excuses, but that could explain a loss of mojo.

On the other hand, it looks like Martin Guiffre did very respectably against Brice Leverdez, who has a lot more international experience.

Firstly, it appears you're still sane

Secondly, that wasn't ideal preparation going into this tournament. A bit perplexed with that.
