    Today (22nd May) only stage level 2 (group A & B) & 3 (group A & B) matches, 1 day rest for all quarterfinalists of level 1.
    Order of play (22nd May) : http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...73BF77-2860-4DE4-A417-7DED98403934&d=20130522

    MAS time : http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_MY.aspx

KNOCK-OUT Stage DRAWING has been conducted last night : http://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/s...d=A573BF77-2860-4DE4-A417-7DED98403934&draw=5

    Order of play (23rd May) : http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...73BF77-2860-4DE4-A417-7DED98403934&d=20130523

    Quarterfinal 1 : CHN v INA (23 May, 12.00pm local time)
    Quarterfinal 2 : KOR v GER (23 May, 12.00pm)
    Quarterfinal 3 : TPE v DEN (23 May, 06.00pm)
    Quarterfinal 4 : JPN v THA (23 May, 06.00pm)

The worst scenario happens to INA team as they must face again the mighty Chinese tomorrow after group stage match yesterday.

I guess not much changes for CHN line-up, INA will field their best Towi/Liliyana and Lindaweni to replace Rijal/Debby & Aprilia respectively.

Big chance for KOR and JPN to progress into semifinal, interesting clash of both teams in last four ;)

Best luck for INA team :)

The matches have started and from all the 12 players on court, I only recognize Eric Pang and he is leading 10-8 against Canada.

NED v CAN, 4-1. Michelle Li denied NED to create 5-0 clean sheet.

    Philippines 3 - 2 Sri Lanka.
The 2 matches that SL won featured that incredible guy Niluka Karunaratne. PHI won the WD, XD and WS.

France routed Austria 5-0, while Ukraine won 4-1 over Turkey. The Turk WD featuring Yigit Neslihan and Bayrak Ozge won in 3 hard-fought games, but that was scant consolation.

Anatoly Yartsev of Russia? I thought they would field Malkov or Ivanov, maybe this guy has potential (he's new to me).

Now is the clash of the two biggest sporting nations.

Currently Russia leads USA by 1 after XD.

For Level 1 , do we know who are the possible SF opponents? Or would there be a draw lots again after QF?

USA is heading to another defeat - next up is the towering Ivanov and Sozonov.

Gabriel Ulldahl just beat Kieran Merrillees - convincingly too. And I thought Kieran was doing pretty good in previous matches.

Score now 1-1. But not for long - the Gilmour girl is next.

Sabrina Jacquet was forced to 3 games by Aussie big hair girl Verdet - despite controlling the rallies. Luckily Verdet stopped playing badminton at 13-13 in the rubber.

Not bad looking - this Russian girl Polikarpova. USA should look into more, ahem, model type girls to match Russia in the looks dept. Cos they can't beat Russians on court.

INA fields Liliyana to play 2 categories to push XD (the best chance for INA) as first match, nice strategy!

    KOR v GER line-up => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...A573BF77-2860-4DE4-A417-7DED98403934&match=42

Nothing different from yesterday's roster for both teams.

    i disagree with that.

i think INA has more chance in MD than XD considering FHF/CY's out of competitive matches recently and AT/NL lost to XC/MJ the last 3 times they played.

but then, they didn't know which XD pair China to field.

I think what CLELY mean is that with XD 1st and MD 3rd INA has more weapon than if MD first XD last

if Towi/Butet could clinch the first match, it will boost the morale of the rest players
