I'm considering to buy a 4U VTZF to replace my current go to replace my 3U Z-Slash, but there is always a little kid inside if my mind that tickles me not to do so for some reasons. FYI, I play only doubles. Therefore, I would like to hear from you who have given up on VTZF, especially the 4U for doubles, so that I can agree or not agree with what the little kid inside my mind is telling me. Why do you give up on VTZF and which racket do you use afterwards?
the only reason why i don't use it is because it's expensive to replace, i don't have anything negative to say about the racket so i'll stop here
If you're looking for more power coming from Z Slash, then this may work. But it is pretty head heavy so defence will be compromised.
i gave up on the vtzf twice, once with the regular ZF 4u and the 2nd time with the 3U ZF ltd. was generally always a reluctant decision as i always had this nagging feeling that i could have gotten more out of it.
Dont give up the z slash, you wont be able to use any other racket, just continue to develop your sklls with the z slash, power from it is very comparable to the z force if you have proper technique and strength.
On the defence, it's like trying to hold a thrashing electric eel. There's probably no better racket for attack, but doubles isn't just attack!
