but will it really make that big of a difference in power if you account in the angular acceleration and jazz?

I'm new to this so I honestly don't know.

    Does it?

Eh? You're the one who should be writing a review.

Haha, it's always good to see what your peers have to say.

Maybe after a month of using it regularly, I'll have something concrete to write about.

I enjoyed your review very much and dubbing this racquet the Z-Force's little brother. It truly does not feel like it belongs in the NanoRay series aside from it being a "fast moving racquet", all other characteristics really push this to an offensive ended Arcsaber or Voltric.

Regardless, I feel they probably needed to throw a "Z" model in the NanoRay lineup since ArcSaber's got a Z-Slash and Voltric with it's Z-Force..

I agree. I think this should be an Arcsaber.

However, on a pro level, a balance point of 300mm seems to be a kind of sweetspot. Lee/Ko use custom BS12's that have a BP hovering around 300mm. Many other doubles players use rackets much heavier. The Nanoray series is already chock full of rackets, and I suspect in a way that if people are looking for something more than what's currently there, then perhaps they're better off looking at other brands.

For example, the Bravesword 10 (4U) and BS12 (3U) are under 300, stiff, and very fast. A 4U MX80/70 is also super stiff, fast, and a smidge under 300mm. The Gosen Ougi and Aermet Zeus are around 290mm, stiff and also feel really nice and fast in the hand.

What Yonex is doing with the Z-Series is really using it to push the envelope. Each of them are actually quite quirky in a way, and they're just not going to suit everybody. Having said that, the Z-Speed is probably closest yet for me at least for a Z-Series racket that's an accessible all-rounder for average intermediates.

I have yet to try the Z-Slash and will probably never try it unless one of my friends coincidentally purchase one in the near future but the Z-Speed was easy, well atleast for me to pick-up and play. I enjoy it much more than my Voltric 80 4u (93g wet with overgrip) and without a doubt, better than the VTZF 3U for my abilities.
