^ 2 copies? Why? There's a reason why there's so many ZSPD for re sale in the used forum...

i wonder too. is it because:

    - it is a bad racket
    - it is a good racket but too hyped up and failed to live up to expectation
    - people are taking advantage of the hype/demand

    ??

LOL, i asked both my doubles and mixed partner to get one z speed and one arc11, but i was hoping that one of them would get them before the other so that i can cancel one, unfortunately, they bought them separately since they don't know each other and didn't travel together (obviously). my bad really! hey, at least i have two arc11 to look forward to, one regular, one TH

yea man, i think i got the idea from having this discussion on another thread, lol. but really, i think i'm done with buying. as soon as her name goes on the bank account as well, it's all over

back onto the z speed, my question is, would stringing it with a stiff string helps with increasing the vibration, like bg80 or vs850 or powergut65???

my other advise is: don't let her read your comments on BC!

hahaha, luckily, the last time she really played was high school and she stopped playing all together, so thank goodness she has no idea what badmintoncentral is!! LOL.

i will be able to pick up the first Zspeed by tonight if not tomorrow, and i will have a session friday night, so i might not be able to wait for your review but as usual, i would always love to hear your criticism on this racket

BG70P was terrible on the ZSPD.

ZM65 was a lot better, NBG95 was decent too

For me it plays best with, NGY98, then BG66UM. I wasn't happy with Zymax65, missed the feeling. The Gosen R4X Inspire was good in the back court, but to me, lacking in control in front of the netcourt...

just a humble review of the zpseed =) i'm a low intermediate player btw.

i bought it and have been using it for 4 sessions of 2 hours each. i must say the feeling of the racket is great.

clears are easy to hit to the baseline, smashing power fantastic (once i got the hang of the smaller racket head). drop shots and net shots are quite ok too. not as difficult a racket as many described. perhaps it is due to the famous saying of not us choosing the racket but the racket choosing us.

so far only the backhand shots i still cant get the timing right and keep mishitting the frame of the racket.

This racket can do a few things really well, like smash, clear, drop, and maybe defend. But once you start asking it to drive, net touch shots, block, lift or backhand, that's when you'll get into trouble.
