actually, believe it or not, toronto is one of those cities with a relatively small badminton playing population... compare them with cities like vancouver... or even more extreme, cities in china...

Toronto is the centre of the Canadian Universe...

    ...again...:p

There is more to Canada than just Toronto...like beautiful Vancouver which is so hip that it has designer clothing modelled on its laid-back lifestyle!:D

Hey, don't forget the Prairie's badminton province: Alberta. We have a passion for badminton just as much as the British Columbians and Torontonians!!!:)

If you wann check out some other badminton board, try www.chinabadminton.com

There's another of which the name excapes me at the moment.
We can only get people who have enough English skills to access this site. So we lose a lot of potential input from our China based fanatics.

    Amazing.

Kwun, I think we need a comprehensive poll on the origins of our lovely BC'ers. Time to make it official! :)

I'd disagree... i had a hell of a time trying to find badminton players in China. Canada definetly has a stronger badminton playing infrastructure. In China, private courts are very expensive, and the only other options are usually near-by univserities. (Most highschools don't have suitable courts for badminton.)

Contrast that with Canada, where 1/3rd of community centres have badminton nights, so almost anyone can participate.
