    Does anyone know what the Japan t-shirts equals in standard Yonex t-shirts??

    I was sent this schedule by a chinese webshop:

    The Yonex Japan t-shirts size XS fit hight:1.45-1.56m;
    The Yonex Japan t-shirts size S fit hight:1.56-1.62m;
    The Yonex Japan t-shirts size M fit hight:1.62-1.70m;
    The Yonex Japan t-shirts size L fit hight:1.70-1.78m;
    The Yonex Japan t-shirts size XL fit hight:1.78-1.86m;

    However, this cannot be entirely accurate for Americans and Europeans.
    According to this schedule I ought to use XXL, whereas with the standard Yonex Europe t-shirts I only use Small or Medium.

    Can anyone enlighten me on this topic??

    I thought you just went up one size from your european size, how can you categorize shirts based on height when europe bases all its sizes on chest measurements?

    It does not appear very logical to me either, but the supplier (bbeshop.com) did tell me it was off some Yonex catalogue.

    I would think that one size up as you suggest would make sense, but I do not know if that is correct.

    I just want to be sure prior to ordering a rather large quantity of shirts from China.

    I would think the best way is to order one to be sure and take it from there, but with my experience of buying from the UK, all the shirts do not follow the same size scale, so be carefull.

    I would think the best thing to do is to get the shop owner to lie the shirts flat and measure across the chest so you know it will fit regardless of your height.

    I would think the height thing would be a generalisation for Asia.

    Well,

    I did see somewhere else that suggested one size larger is needed when ordering the Japanese clothing from Yonex. And you, Dill, did say the same in your first reply.
    I don't know if yuou were just guessing, but I think I'll go with that.

    Too bad Yonex does not list any e-mail adresses for such enquiries on their website.

    Does anyone have a Yonex Customer Support e-mail adress??

    runner23, i bought some jaspro shirts with L size without knowing exactly how it would fit. It turns out it fitted me perfectly. In canada, M size yonex shirt i got equates to the L size as jaspro shirts. I'm 1.7 to 1.78 m

    hi all~ sort of out of the topic but kind of related so.... please forgive me~

    I am just wondering if there are any major differences between the chinese (cheaper but lower quality as said by other BFs) and the japanese types of yonex shirts in terms of the material used, Yonex name tag, buttons/zips etc... so I wont be fooled by retailers who tries to sell chinese ones at the price of their japanese counterparts, which are usually five plus times more expensive.

    Thanks in advance!

    i doubt you would find JP apparels in china unless you have 100% confidence in that chinese store. This mean checking other JP product quality in their store. Safest is still buying it from Japan directly.

    ok. i have a question. I'm buying stuff from shuttle-house.com and I was wondering about the sizes of the shirts and shorts.

    1) For shirts, Is Jaspo size "SS" equal to US size "XS"?
    2) Again for shirts, are Jaspo sizes "S," "M," & "L" the same as their respective sizes in US sizes
    3) What is Jaspo "O" size and "XO," for shirts?

    For the shorts, I have the same questions as for the shirts?

    All answers would greatly be appreciated since I don't want to spend money for shipping overseas for incorrect sizes.

    Thanks

    I think O means oversize.

    I have O size Jaspo Yonex T-shirts and pullover. I only stand 1.7m tall!

    I think these fit me just right but I also like my clothes to fit quite loosely.

    Never tried the skirts on though.

    As Cooler and Cheung have both already alluded to, Japanese sizes are one size down/smaller than north american.

    BTW, SS is XS and and XO or OO is XL. And yes that goes for all their clothing, shorts and shirts alike. So basically...

    Japanese:US
    SS:baby clothing ;)
    S:XS
    M:S
    L:M
    O:L
    OO:XL
    XO:XL
    XXO:XXL
    XXX:Adults Only :D ;) j/k~ sorry I just couldn't resist...
