    WWC usually plays Mon-Thurs from 8-10pm, but I usually play Wed only. If you come on Mon, Tues or Thurs, I can come out to test the panhandle against you. We play feather shuttles on these nights, but can go elsewhere for nylon.

    Bring $5 if you want in on the target jackpot!!! :D

    But it's $15 if you can hit Panhandle on the top of the head! (when he's showing you his latest graphics done on the hair) :D :D :D

    Dave,
    Unless you are going to be in Vic on the weekdays, I can meet up with you but otherwise I'm back in Vancouver on the weekends but unfortunately do not have the time to play (maybe once in a while). There are a number of places to play in Vic every day of the week.

    Hi Guys;
    Seeing that you're off between Christmas and New Years, why don't you come out for some baddy play in Kelowna. TXYU should be back from Whistler by then and if not Mikey and the group would surely welcome you guys. We're only 3.5 hrs away.
    PS/ Have to watch out for the speed traps around here. Oops, hope I didn't hit a sore spot!

    Re: Winex and Wood-22-Chuck

    Brian,
    Thanks for the offer but I don't think I would be able to convince the family to let me take them on a 3.5 hr just for me to play baddy (one of the disadvantage of having a spouse who don't play baddy). :(

    BUT I will sure plan a trip out there one of these days.

    I'd like to drive down there but I hear the highway's treacherous cause of the all the ice & snow .... still considering it though.

    Speedtraps :D ... i've learnt my lesson (read $$$) I drive like a turtle now, no offense to turtle-lovers!

    Hmmm... :)

    How far is Kelowna from Whistler? I might be up at Whistler for a week this Christmas but might get bored of snowboarding every day. Plus the mountain closes in the evenings anyway.

    Timeles;
    It's about 5 1/2 hours from Kelowna to Whistler. We also have Big White here, which is an awesome ski area. Only 1 hr from Kelowna.
    Also, our club is open 7 days a week and you can play just about 24 hrs a day.
    Have a nice day!

    If you want to combine skiing/snow boarding with badminton, you might be better off at Big White given that Kelowna is pretty close.

    Otherwise, you will need to get hold of Txyu to see when they play baddy at Pemberton.

    5.5 hours away?!?! LOL OMG that's far... you can drive halfway across Ontario in that time! I guess it's completely the opposite direction.

    Hmmm... okay does anyone know how far pemberton is from Whistler? I can't really change my Whistler trip because there are others tied into with me.

    Wow, my thread has split into 2 and I didn't even know about it!! I just finished playing WWC and hit him enough times to almost retire!!! The only time we play together is Wednesday evenings at Brentwood Bay Community Hall and then we go out for wings and drinks. I can go to the other places he plays if you are to come out. Do you play feather or nylon?

    Both is fine with me :D ... I'm not that particular, I'm going to drag my brother along, so I'll find out if he's particular with feathers or not. He's visiting from Msia, where if you play with nylon, you're labelled a bona-fide super-beginner :)

    sorry can't make it to Victoria this week, but in lieu of Dec 29 get-together by Break-My-String, at least we can still play. You sure you can't make it WWC?

    Dave,
    Sorry, leaving for Victoria this Sunday evening and won't be back until the evening of the 31st.

    At least you will get an opportunity to play against Panhandle and my brother.
