I live in San Jose, CALifornia....

I'm just wondering if anyone has a clue about any open gyms around here. The places I used to go play and waste my money all have closed down or the coaches just quit. I only get to play once or twice a week....*sniff*

I've been doing a lot of running, push-ups, and sit-ups to keep in shape for all the lost time, and so I wanna go back to playing almost everyday, for 10 hours a day.......good times I used to have. So I wanna play some badminton!

    Thanks!:p

7 days a week? go to Bintang. they open 6 days a week. that should satisfy even the most active person. they are a bit far in MV though.

It's not that far, I think Odjn is from Silvercreek. It's really not that far, you might want to consider SJSU since it's closer.

So Kwun, you gonna be there friday? I think I'll go if your gonna be there, want a rematch :p

sigh. my schedule doesn't get determined until an hour or two before the game. an extra busy week at work (again) so i am not going to make any promises... sigh again.

cvanbui, i wasn't there the past weekend, so if you saw someone, it could not have been me... ;)

Joseph do you go to Pleasanton?

sorry it wasn't last week more like two to three weeks ago, if i remember correctly and if it's you, i think you put your pin in court #5 but then move it, for some reason.

oh i have another question kwun, do you know thomas blanchet, i think he trains at bintang, or one of their members.

What's the address for City Beach? If it's not that far, then I'll think of going this Sunday.

if you wait till the end of the day, there are usually lots of free courts. but i also understand that you have a long drive home as well.

i have never been there, but it looks a bit more expensive for drop-in when compared to other places.

citybeach charge 7 bucks for the first time. but after u register u pay 5 bucks. and they hv group discounts. but if u go early and help the staff setup the courts, one of the lady there will let u play for free. also, there're alota ppl there during Sats, but if ur good enuff, u can beat them and stay in the court forever!

How many courts are there? Between what time are they opened? Is it really crowded on Sundays? Exactly how good are these people? Sorry for the questions, but I'm deciding to see if I should go. Cause I would like lots of play time since I haven't had that much in a while.

they 6 good courts. i think the players there are average just bc my partner and I never lost a game playing there for a yr now. and we arent tat great either. but dun take my word for it . :D as long as u go early, u can surely get a court by urself, usually the winners stay.

What kind of Group discounts? How many people do I need to force to play badminton with me in order to get this group discount?

if u hv more than 5 ppl, u pay $5 per person. but it really depends, sometimes the staff are really mean and dun give u discount.
