It should be noted that China's child prodigy He BingJiao will compete in WS. It would be interesting to see how she will do. She was the GS and GD champions at last year's Asia U15 & U17 Championships, competing in the U17 division.
I've no doubt if He Bingjiao were a non-CHN player, her member association would be most happy to have her competing in both the junior and adult international circuits, just like the Thai child prodigies and others. But in China with so many older and senior world class top players ahead of her, she can only bide her time no matter how good she is now. Even LXR and Sun Yu,for example, only got to play in the adult international tournaments when they were 18/19 years old.

Note that this is a badminton competition, not a beauty contest.

There is still Akane Yamaguchi, last year WJC runner up...
With Aya Ohori, she is definitely going to be a threat for other girls..

So the draw for the QF onwards has been decided?
Hmm, there is a loophole on the system then. INA or MAS can avoid CHN in the semis by becoming Group A runner up, assuming CHN is going to top Group B..
But then again, there is no guarantee that they can beat JPN/THA either...

Why is Jonathan Christie not included in INA squad? Anyone knows how the selection went?

From what i heard, He lost to Anthony Ginting in the selection. while Fikri and Ihsan got sure spot.
Anthony Ginting is not bad. I still remember around 2 years ago, when Bayu is still new in Djarum, Anthony and Jonathan were 2 most exciting talents in the circuit. Due to lack of publication, anthony is maybe one of underrated talent. Susi Susanti, during National Championship 2012, selected anthony to be in Pelatnas. His perform was awesome and got into semifinal.
