    hi all,

i need a recommendation. i had been using the same old racquet for the past years. it was a carlton flex oval (really really old low end). i have never keep myself updated with the racquet technology but recently i found that all the newer racquets are much lighter and better it actually improves my game. so i was thinking of getting a new one.

i am a small sized guy, about 170cm tall and 50kg heavy. last week, i got myself a really cheap muscle power 010 at a warehouse sale (basically because it's really cheap) and it was strung at 21lbs. however i dont like the feeling from this racquet. it's kinda heavy, and i started missing shots and my smash isnt powerful at all. i feel really hard playing with it, i actually thought my ancient carlton racquet is better.

i am thinking to get a new one that suits myself but have no idea what i should get?
basically need a light one, budget around SGD$150 tops. can you guys recommend me some suitable one for me, along with the recommended tension?

    Thanks in advance..

i'm sorry but i'm not familiar with the specs of your old racket, but if you can tell me the weight, balance, and flex, i can probably recommend something current that has similar specs?

Something light with power sounds like the li ning flame n50. Its the red racket first used by fu hai feng when he was sponsored by li ning. Its available at queensway for about sgd160-180 with string and grip. Definitely not lacking in smash but control not as good.

Technically he is still sponsored by li - ning. Li - ning just bought kason. I think you would like the arcsaber series like the 7

I'm also looking for a racquet if you guys could help me out. I'm a solid intermediate, pretty good all round but more towards offensive. Love to smash. I have a black knight SuperLight that weighs 75. I liked it when I first felt it but I want something more powerful and a bit heavier but don't really want to go over 85grams
