Here I am at my desk. I see the packet of a set of strings here. The description has the word 'repulsion'. Why do we use this homonym? Is there a better term?
Well let me explain why must we use that homonym. In the first place the shuttle cock is disgusting indeed what with it being made of chicken feathers. Plus, it's a cock. Cocks are quite repulsive, I must admit. If you ever see a string, it is usually straight thus obviously are quite repulsed by cocks. The amount of repulsiveness the string feels towards the cock will determine how far the cock will go so not only it is highly appropriate to use the term "repulsion", it is essential.
