Hi everyone ! Some of you may have heard about SOlibad Day. It's this coming Saturday. The idea is to promote Solibad through fun actions, raising funds, etc. THere are alraedy about 50 events happening all over the world - you can check the list here www.solibad.net/solibad-day But if you want to join us and if you don't know what to do for Solibad Day : Take a shuttlecock, color the feather (see photo), and go and take a picture of the shuttle in front of an iconic place (monument, landscape), near your place and send it to us on June 29th ! This way, you can also contribute to Solibad Day ! You can also ask a couple of friend to dress up with Solibad Colors (rainbo) and go and play in iconic places near your home, or in a funny or odd place, and film yourself. you can then send the photo/video to us at : video@solibad.net (directly if file is not too big, or via wetransfer.com otherwise) Thank you !
Hehe, overwhelming participation Useful idea by Fidget to actually include the location , so mine was taken at the Batavia Wharf in Lelystad, The Netherlands http://www.bataviawerf.nl/startpage.html I must admit I took it a day later (hence have not actually submitted it to Solibad). Had planned to go there the 29th but was getting late on the day and the wind was head on at the same strength as can be seen here so figured I wouldn't get back in time for a birthday or at minimum completely knackered!
Nice photo, demolidor. Way more artistic set up than a disembodied hand holding a birdie in the foggy air. Also love that the subject of the photo, the Batavia, was such a heart-lifting story according to your link: "The story of this shipwreck became a blood-curdling thriller featuring murder and manslaughter, treason, mutiny ..."
