|BLAI|, babe... you need to work on your 'searching' skills. Lots of questions you wanted answers for has already been visited and RE-VISITED many times in this forum. Take care and have fun reading.
come on............ searching it hard.........there's like 300 subjects can somebody just help me OUT~~~~~~~~ hlpz~~~~~~~
Alright |BLAI|, here's my reply to your questions... Different tensions on main/cross strings => according to some people, it's to maintain racquet frame shape. But for others, its mainly personal preference. Ideal tension for dropping and smashing needs => It's actually irrelevent how tight you strung your racquets at... you will get use to the tension after awhile. Dropping and smashing is really dependant on your skills, not your racquet tension. However, generally speaking, the higher the tension, the more power you get... to a point. After reaching that 'point', you will gain more control in your shots and any additional power will be based on how well you hit the birdie. You wanna know what the point is? You gotta find out on your own. Unfortunately, it's best to stick to the lower range (18lbs~22lbs) if you're an beginner or intermediate. Does stringing over recommended void the warranty?=> YES! The racquet company needs to make money off you... it won't make any profit if it has to keep replacing your racquet Which racquet do I think you should get? MP33 or MP77?=> Heh! How should I know?! I have never even watched you play. If you're a beginner, stick with the lower numbered MP. Hope that helps...
yes, here it goes: it's not the racket nor strings ... it's your personal skill. Pouring money into equipment won't make you more skillful. Keep what you've got, re-string it to 20lbs or so, then keep playing and improving. Have fun in HK! -dave
