Those don't quite look like the ones that correct vision though. My guess is that she plays mix too much with mediocre partners XD

well Hierkommtnils, my high school coach made it mandatory for all of our doubles teams to wear them, since they were "recommended" by the school board. and some of my friends don't have pairs, so i bring extra

what, really?
that's quite bad cause i would find it distracting to have to wear goggles.
-

yea, if i have to play a long game it's irritating because they fog up and i can't see anything, otherwise, it's not all that distracting.

it's not school board. it's OFFSA that made that rule in the first place

oh, my mistake, then if that's not the case, then ROPSSAA made it recommended, and in OFSAA tournaments it's mandatory

I understand that the chances of something hitting your face is rare in badminton, but i've seen multiple instances of people getting hit in the face/eyes. I've been hit in the eye by a shuttle before, and believe me, it's not fun. One of my friends has been hit in the face by a racquet that almost cracked his nose open. So, it's really to keep us safe...

A woman in my team turned arround while playing a mixed and was hit from the shuttle in the eye by her partner.
But I don`t think we should use googles, I think we should better not turn arround
